Hi, I am getting my lap band July 23, 2009 here in AZ. I went to seminar and saw MD and had ekg June 30. Had labs done today and started my 3 weeks protein diet last thursday. I am nervous etc like did I chose right MD. I am private pay and have been looking into this for few years. Any info woulod be appreciated.. Good luck everyone. :thumbup:

Hello Everyone!

Having my surgery July 14th. Starting to get a little nervous now that i can count on one hand the days until my surgery!!!

My surgery date was the 14 , the dr office called to reschedule for 16th . I am really bummed out . I know its only two days but I was really starting to get mentally ready. Plus it is hard for me to change my work schedule at the last minute. SO NOW I HAVE TO RETHINK THE WHOLE THING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS TAKEN CARE OF . OH WELL i HOPE THIS IS THE ONLY SNAG IN THE PROCESS. SOUND LIKE THE OTHER JULY BANDERS ARE DOING WELL . KEEP US INFORMED . YALLS WORDS ARE VERY ENCOURAGING FOR ME . :thumbup:

Hey Everyone,

My surgery date is 7/13. I'm getting super nervous. Not about the surgery or the pain, but being able to handle the side of affects of the gas and nausea. I had all my labs and test today, so there is no going back! Good luck to everyone! :confused:
