Newly banded..........

Hello my name is Sandy.:rolleyes2:

I am very excited. I just had lap band surgery April 18th. I had my surgery done in Mexico and paid for it out of pocket. The surgeon was Dr. Haucuz. He could not of been more wonderful. It was nothing but GREAT! I am so looking forward to becoming thin again. I have lost 15 lbs thus far. I feel good... a little sore in the tummy area but that is expected. Good Luck to all who is having lap band surgery.

Congrats sandy,

Enjoy the journey of a happier and healthier you.

Welcome Sandy

You have just made the best choice for your life. It is fun to watch your body change and get thinner, Im just 5 weeks out and have dropped a pant size already.

I also was self pay and went to Mexico, I had soo many people freaking out before I went. I had Dr Almanza and I had a wonderful experience too. They were very supportive and caring.

Keep posting we love to hear about different journeys.

Hi there Sandy

Welcome and congrats on your surgery. Sounds like your recovery has been fast and smooth.

I was banded on the 23rd April and am doing ok (touch wood!) too. Feeling a lot better now that I can have full fluids (milk, yoghurt, Protein drinks, smoothies, pureed Soups, etc).

Though you might be interested to know that there's a forum for all the April bandster's HERE - in case you'd like to share experiences with others of us being banded at around the same time. It's a wonderful place for support.

Also, you've been added to the list of April bandsters HERE.

EMMANUELMEDICAL.COM There is also an ad on the right side of this page. Good luck.
