I did not have to do a pre-op diet, but on the post-op liquid phase I was allowed Sugar Free jello and Sugar Free Pudding.

They are all different. You are safest to ask your surgeon what YOU are allowed.

yes I'am on the liquid diet and they allow me to eat sugar free jello, my surgery is on April 13th! 4 days away! ahhh!

Hi, I'm a nurse and can answer you, many procedures that are done say no red jello because it can appear to look like blood to the physician and can be misleading. I hope this helps and good luck on your weight loss.
