Mii and my Wii!
I like my Wii Fit, but if you can get the EA Active for the Wii I feel like I am working harder (and also break a sweat).

Britt, How much of each meal can you eat.....I only eat the 4oz at each meal and was wondering how much of their meal that is. Thanks!

For those of you that had to do the six months
I had to see a dietician through my insurance and she would give me goals that on the next meeting I had to show thru a journal what I was doiing and also lose at least a pound or two.

Carbination....
I have to fight my urge for diet pepsi at least a couple times a week. I have had a sip of someones once in awhile when it gets too bad, but haven't had any beer yet...not too big of a beer drinker though.

Buying clothes is a full time job!!
Since the surgery I have been buying most of my clothes at Ross (good price, good quality). I also check out clearance racks.....not worth paying full price for something that might only fit a few weeks.
-
So... got some work to do.
Jason...just want to say you sound awesome. Good luck, getting the surgery was the best thing I have done as I am sure it will be for you!

Non Scale Victories!
I actually went to Sears tonight to look in the clearance section (not worth buying regular priced clothing) and decided instead of going to the plus size I went to the "regular size" and tried on a 16 pant and an xl shirt...pants fit great and shirt could even be a little big but works for me.

first episode of being stuck--OUCH!!!
Thanks for the tip. My doctor also advised after pb'ing you should be on liquids for 24hours. He says that the pb'ing can irate your pouch causing swelling and to give your stomach 24 hours to heal.

Eating on a cruise
I am going on one this Wednesday....I am just thinking much smaller portions and slow way down. I am not planning on weighing my food while there but plan on being as good as possible. I will let you know how it goes once I get back.

Do you attend support groups?
I like to go to the meetings. I have missed the last three due to work and vacations but I plan on starting back up in August.

NSV's (NonScale Victories)
Was actually able to buy a top in the regular section!

Can you ever eat 'regular' food again?
My doctor moved me to regular foods starting the 4th week after surgery. Since then I can eat anything I want, but I have been trying to make healthier choices and limit to my 4oz. The only things I have found that I have a problem with is rice and soft breads, gets stuck almost every time I try.

Food being stuck
My reaction is the same as Jenn's...extreme pain...feels like my stomache is being twisted into knots and starts gurgling. I am learning to stop at the first gurgle, if I do that then that is all good.
-
How do you make a 4 oz meal last 30 mins!...lol
I can't do it either, no matter what else I am doing.
-
Did you tell people???
I have told everyone.....not ashamed that I needed help in losing the weight, plus most have been very helpful and encouraging.

Weight Goals
My doctor said my ideal weight was 125, I am shooting for 150 and will reevaluate myself at that time.
