It may be too tight. However if you have not had a fill in a good long while you will have some swelling for a few days. My doc says that if you swallow the water and it just sits there before going down then you are swollen, but if the water comes right back up then to come in a see him. Thank goodness that has only happened to me once. Good Luck and just take it slow.

I just had a fill on March 16th and I couldn't keep fluids down either. I called the next day and they said to come in ASAP because my band was too tight. I would get in as soon as possible. You must be dehydrated by now. It only took me one day to become dehydrated because I couldn't keep Fluid down either. Good Luck

I had my last fill about a month ago and all has been fine until this past week. I stupidly tried to swallow an Iron pill and it got stuck. I was able to get it out, but since then, I know I've caused swelling around my band, because I can't keep Water down. Does anyone know how long this will last? I will have to call the Dr if it doesn't subside soon.. I love my water!

(I was banded in Sept 08 and have lost 62 lbs so far.. )
