Vacation prior to surgery??

Hello -

I had started this journey back in January - and my husband and I decided that we would take a spring break vacation with our 6 yr old daughter. That vacation (a cruise) is fast approaching.

When we get back I start my 2 weeks of liquid diet. And then have the surgery.

Anyone else plan and go on a nice vacation just prior to surgeery? Did you 'binge' at all while on vacation?

Or were you able to stick to a sensible low-calorie diet?

I am a little afraid that I might overdo it...

I planned my surgery last January 2008. It was not a good time for a cruise. My daughter and i went to a spa week-end we did all the girl things pedi, manacure, massage the works. I did have a last supper. Enjoy your vacation.
