Am I the only one without a MySpace Page?

I note many on here have a myspace page. I was wondering if I was the lone holdout?

No myspace page here either. Most of my kids have one though (age 14-24). I just don't feel the need for one. Seems a little adolescent to me. Probably just because my kids have one. But that's just my opinion. I'm not putting it down, I just don't feel the need to have one.

Nope, me neither. I spend too much time on here as it is.

I hate mobile phones too, lol, thats how old and crusty I am. My kids arent allowed to have one yet at 11 and 13, I just dont see why a school kid needs a phone. Mine is an old brick from about 2002, I have a prepaid plan and I used the phone only for the odd occasion. I have a phone on the wall in the kitchen, I use that!

I have a myspace, I originally got it to keep an eye on my kids. Then I started getting to know a ton of lapband people on it. Now, I tend to spend more time on facebook. I like it better and have connected with a lot of people I had been out of contact with for years.

I voted no but almost voted, what is it! LOL! I HAVE heard of it BUT really have no idea about it!

Seems just a little too public for me but that's also probably how little I know about it.

Michelle, on MySpace you have the option of setting your profile to private so only those people you accept as your friends can see it. Or, you can leave it as public and anyone can see it.

On Facebook, your profile is always private except for your friends, and even then, you can choose exactly what information you want available for them to see.

I have one.....have had it since 06, I use it to keep in touch with old friends.....

But Im always trying to find other LapBanders on there, I always seem to pull ppl up that havent been on line in a year or something so I dont even bother requesting them.

With that said, if you have a myspace and want to add me, Id be more then happy to accept....

I need all the support I can get, Plus I love getting tips from other banders.....

I have a page and use it regulsrly to keep in touch with family and friends, meet other nascar fans, and to keep an eye on my daughter who has one. MySpace.com - Luv4NASCAR »-(¯v¯)-» 9 19 20 26 88 99 »-(¯v¯)-» - 35 - Female - WEST SACRAMENTO, California - www.myspace.com/rrod0991 if anyone wants to add me just say you saw me here so I will know it is ok to add you.

I must admit that I thought about getting one only to keep an eye on the 14 year old but decided against it and assigned my two older kids to keep an eye and ear out. I'm glad I have them otherwise I would have to get one. Gotta stay on top of those kids.

Oh. That makes a lot of sense. Good to know! Guess I should be paying attention to these things more since I have a 2 1/2yr old that'll be on these things before I know it (or am ready for it)!

Thanks, Susan!

So, those of you that do have facebook, I would love to have you add me as well. My link is in my signature.

Ditto that

My son doesn't have one. I have both myspace and facebook blocked from our computer. I know I can't watch him all of the time, but there are some things that I can control in my house. That is one of them. My step daughter has one, but I just don't agree with it.
