Summer Weightloss Challenge

Hi guys,

I really hoped to code some neat stuff for the new challenge, but with some new challenges in my own life (newly single dad, new pastor, moving to a new house in a new town, you know, little things like that =) ) I just haven't had the chance.

I have, however, set up a new challenge, beginning this Monday and ending ON Labor Day.

On Monday, please weigh in and post your beginning weight here. If you don't want your weight posted, tell me to post it as "0", and we'll only track what you've lost, not what you weigh.

Peace,

Jonathan

199.2!!

I stayed in Onederland!!! I'm thrilled. Thanks everyone! I love posting here every Monday!! That's 8 pounds since the beginning of the challenge. I can live with that!!

Thanks to having what I think is the flu this past week, I'm down to 226.5!!! I've been taking basically clear liquids/yogurts, just until this throat stops hurting so much. I haven't been 2-twenty anything for a very long time! I love my band!!

Congrats to everyone on their fabulous work!

I'm back from an ice-cream-filled vacation. . . and in Onederland again! Drumroll, please: 199. Down one bloody pound in a month. But that's something of a miracle considering how much frozen custard I put away recently.

Pretty happy right now. Didn't gain but didn't lose either. I am still 234. Gotta kick this thing into HIGH gear now. Got 6 more to lose for the challenge. Good luck all.

I'm down 1 more pound this week to 267. Better than gaining, but I'm not thrilled. Good job everyone on your weightloss, and for reporting it every week. This board is a great support for me.

I continue to be blessed with a wonderful banding experience. I can't believe it's almost been 6 months. I'm down 3 lbs this week to 282. I'm hoping for 2 more by the 31st, which will be my exact 6 month banderversary, and would be a 60 lb weight loss.

Hi everyone. I am 206 this morning and I am getting some momentum going with this weight loss thing. Thank Jonathan for keeping us going with the summer challenge.

Debby

I was having such a rough monday morning i COMPLETLY forgot to weigh myself (which used to be a raaaare occurance for me).Although i did just weigh in thursday i will weigh myself tomorrow on my unreliable scale...asking for a digital scale fo my b-day:)

Well, congrats to all banders it seems like everyone did great this week!!no gaining and thats always a plus!!

One measly pound down for me too...I know, I know, it's better than nuttin'--and much better than gaining, but STILL!!!!!!

Y O Y O Y does it go ON so much faster than it goes OFF?????!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been sticking at 228 for a month now! due to lack of exercise because

of a hurt knee shoulder problems.

But life is good..... hope every one is happy and healthy and losing weight!

also I will have my Gallbladder out in the morning! but looking forward to getting

back to walking!

I hope every one is having a nice summer Take care most of all God bless

ps eat right get some exercise....

Good Luck With Your Surgery. I Will Say A Little Prayer That All Goes Well Will This Be 2 Surgery's In The Same Year? Does Your Dr. Think That The Band Had Any Effect On This At All?

Stayed at 189 this week, but I'm happy with that considering I got my monthly visitor this week. My daughter had surgery on her knee, another daughter had a doctor appointment for ear problems and our air conditioner broke--I live in Henderson NV (Vegas) and we've been over 115 for nearly two weeks now, so I'm pleased that there was no gain in spite of my busy schedule.

Back to working out and journaling again so should see results next week! Hopefully!?! Congratulations to the rest of you, you're doing great!!!!
