Just starting!

I'm starting pre-op diet tomorrow Wed. 8/13/08. Bit nervous but eager to get going. Surgery scheduled for Friday 8/22/08. Any insight on prediet would be helpful. My understanding of pre-diet is protein shakes breakfast and lunch then salad for dinner. No soda and weaning off caffeine.

Hello.. I had the surgery on 8/7 I was allowed only clear liquids day before surgery then nothing after midnight. I already started eating a little bit of mush 6 days post op. The surgery went great I was on the beach 2 days later (in clothes) and back in school on monday ( i am a full time student) good luck!!! Dana

thanks for feedback. my doc calls for clear liquid day before too but the rep from lapband suggest at least a 10 day pre-diet. i'm starting to get really anxious. It's going to be a long 10 days.

my preop diet was kinda like the slim fast diet a hsake for breakfast one for lunch and a sensible dinner (baked chicken or fish). it wasn't so bad. you'll get thru it just fine

:crying:
