Hope it all went well for you, you are finally an offical bandster after the long wait and determination to get your band! I'm happy for you :)

Hey girl, Where the heck are you? I know you were banded yesterday. I was travelling to Baltimore yesterday with John for a friend's wedding today. So come and post as soon as you are up to it.

HUGS and know you are doing great.

Hey Christina - just thinking about ya! Hope all is well.... and WELCOME to the world of BANDLAND!!!

YAY!!! Christina.... You are FINALLY banded!! I know how long you waited for this! Im so happy for you! Welcome to Bandland!!!

WOW- My own Congrats thread - THANKS ZOE!!!!

It so sweet- I love the feeling you get when its "all about you for the moment"-I feel so special. Its been 2 days now & my MOM is being a great helper & I have definitely needed the help. My shoulder is getting better with each-belch & (well you know-toot) So thats good. Tough in the wiping area- to hard to bend over;0) But the job gets done-LOL LOL LOL I am VERY BRUISED at the port area. Any of you have this ?

Also my stomach feels like a skate boarding ramp- it goes out in areas & than dramtically in in other spots. Will this all flatten away? I hope so- so far it hasn't but I keep it iced has much as possible.

Haven't wanted to eat (drink) anything- so I am really trying to get a Protein clear drink down with some chicken broth tonite.

I love all you guys soo much! Thank you for your thoughts!

Oh also I am purchasing a gift for my self. I have always wanted Jack Lalaines(spelling) Juicer. He just came out with a new version & I am going for it!! Its pricey but I think will be fun to use now & hopefully I will continue to eat more healthy has the year goes bye.

I 'll check back on monday or Tuesday. I hate these white pressure socks- they are not comfortable. But I'll get by!

WHHHOOHOOO everyone!!

Congratulations Christina!!! So glad your doing good so far.Sorry you are having so much BURPS AND TOOTS!!!! HEHE!!!

I know where they attacked the port to my muscle.... my side looked sunk in more but it some how looks normal now.... is this what your talking about?? Keep walking and sipping!!!! You are gonna do great!!!

So glad your surgery went well. I hope that all those gas pain are over quickly. I have to telll you that mine lasted for several weeks. Enjoy that juicer and I hope your recovery is really speedy!

Congratulations =)

And please, be careful with the juicer idea. Remember, as a bandster, you want to avoid drinking calories. The whole point of the band is to create a physical barrier that can help you not eat too many calories. If you juice up a bunch of stuff, you'll be able to drink it until the cows come home. And most people don't get any feelings of satiety from drinking liquids.

Again, congratulations, and welcome to bandland =)
