New to Site

Hello All, My name is Beth. I'm new to this site and am currently on a 6-mo. doctor monitored wt.-loss program that my insurance requires. I'm in the 3rd month now. I'm doing okay, but wasn't doing so well the first two months. 1200 calories is a lot less than I'm accustomed to. I didn't exercise much the first two months and also didn't lose much weight. But now I'm getting on my treadmill every day. I'm also keeping a food journal now. I look forward to reading your posts.

Hi Beth, and welcome. Keeping a food journal definitely helped. I resisted it for almost a year and a half. But, I finally started tracking and was amazed at some of things I thought were healthy and low calorie and really weren't.

Keep us posted on how things are going and let us know if you have any questions.

Hi there! I'm starting my 3rd month of physician weight loss. LA Weightloss taught me about keeping a journal, and it really helps. I haven't lost any weight, but I haven't gained any!! I'm picking up my excercise, and hope that will help!

Good luck!

Hi Molly, Thanks for the post. I know it's difficult to stick with a diet plan but we have to do it don't we...lol. I just made an awesome frozen strawberry smoothie that only has 70 calories and 0 fat. It was just what I needed to get me through the rest of the afternoon. Good luck and keep posting! Beth

I'm A 32 Year Old Girl From Nh And This Is The Second Day Here On The Site. I've Been Reading Up On Lap Band For A Couple Of Years Now. My Biggest Hurdle Is Financial. I Would Like To Find Out If Any One In The Nh Area Knows Anything About Where You Can Get Fills Done If You Did Not Get Your Lap Band Local. Thank You.
