Good Luck to all of you ladies. Do not let the insurance hold you back fight. I am in the same boat fighting with the insuranc company to have the surgery done. I went to a Dr. close by but they did not want to help me so yesterday I went to different office. The ladies in the office are looking for insurance companies that they know will pay for the surgey. So if I have to pay for personal insurance I will. I have BCBS Healthselect and they will not pay one cent. Once again good luck ladies and keep fighting.

ckelly37 ok I got too happy there for a minute. What kind of questions did you ask when you call them. Can you find out if they have web page that I can look on. There so many type of insurance companies out there I want to make sure that I am looking into the correct one. Thanks

Hello everyone am LT! My name is LT am from Texas age 29 and 112 pounds over weight. I have done a lot research and am sold that the band will help me. I ran into a problem with my insurance and they do not cover the surgery. :confused2: So now am on the search to find a private insurance company that will cover the surgery. Am so desperate that for the last three days I have not went to work or talked with any family members about this. Am so unhappy right now. I have been on so many diets and so many pills that I have lost all hope.
