I'm back on the road to getting banded again.

Here's the story..

I was going to get banded a year ago, and I was going to be self paid. But right before the surgery I started having financial issues, and needed to call it off.

Well I'm back and ready to go at it again!! Also in that time I switched companies, so I want to try and get them to approval the procedure first.

So cross your fingers!!! :biggrin:

i had BCBS 2 years ago and they did not approve me. i recently started a new job and will be there a year this month. i now have UHC, so i went back to my doctor to see if they could get me approved and i was so happy to hear from them (they told me 3 wks) ago and i'm now scheduled to have surgery of 4/24.....dont give up.

Hi and welcome back! Hopefully everything will go wonderfully and you will be banded soon. Keep us posted on your progress.

I should hear from my doctors office tomorrow to see what they think, and I'll take it from there.

This weight is really starting to bother me, even my little daughter looks at me as fat... she's 6... so thats it, its time to make the change.

:huh2::shades_smile:goodluck on getting your surgery covered. dont ever give up. i just had ge surgery 1 week ago i had to private pay i have to loose 50 pounds and i am so excited i have already pulled off 13, i am starving but it is worth it. i had to log in under my husbands name i could not get it to take my password. this is a great way to incourage others think good luck talk soon.
