I can't imagine that it would lose any of the beneficial ingredients. The only thing that you should be concerned about is how you swallow it. I'm thinking maybe you should let it melt completely in your mouth first and then swallow.

I went for my pre-op appt. yesterday and the doctor specifically told me that when I am on clear liquids, NO JELLO!!! I know that every doc is different, but based on what my doc said, I am going to stick with his rules.

I am definitely NOT going to listen to my body. That is how I got to be 100lbs overweight!!!! :frown:

Good luck!!!

U know what I do with mine is add tons of ice with my slim fast optima shakes and put it in my magic bullet.... and it is so good... I can't drink it unless it is really cold... other than that it will all come bk up....

I had ATkins Advantage Protein shake today. I always by anything Choc.

It does need to be cold, real cold. I am going to try the ice and the ice blender.

Let me know if you hear aboutt freezing the shake and eating it like ice cream. It probably does have to melt all the way to swallow it.

Intersting, I have a nice Ice Cream maker. I wonder if in the summer I can put shakes in it and make "ice cream" and do this with Crystal Light and make slush sort of a low cal sorbet thing. I'll have to try it when the weather is warmer. also maybe blending fruits and makeing sorbets might be nice
