Hello everyone! I have been thinking about lap band off and on since I learned about it a little over a year and a half ago. In the middle of January I decided I was finally going to do something about it. And now here I am and I'm scheduled for surgery on March 27th. I'm super excited!

BTW, don't be surprised if you start having 2nd thoughts or cold feet as the day approaches. That's normal. You'll do fine and this will work for you!

I am also getting banded on 3/27---so we can be BAND BUDDIES. Are you on any pre-op diets? And will you be on a 2week post op liquid diet, if so do you have any suggestions????

I have to go on a clear liquid diet the day before and for two weeks after. I havent really looked into any recipes yet. I think next weekend i'm going to search for some to print out and make my own cookbook. =D
