Magic Bullet

Hi for those of you that have bought or been given one of these (magic bullet) is it worth it. I want one, and I think I am going to get one today but I really wanted to know how much someone uses it. I am kinda going from the mushy stage to the solid. But I can think that some meats would still be better chopped a bit before trying to chew them to death. Also when I get a fill, each time won't liquids and mushies for a couple of days be the norm. Also it could just come in handy for any meal prep. But before I buy yet another gadget (i am so the gadget queen) I really wanted to hear from some that have it. Is it better then a plain blender?

Thanks so much

Hugs and wishes to all for a wonderful Thursday.

So is the Magic Bullet better then like a Kitchen Aid or Cuisnar (sp) chopper.. You know thoes really really small ones??? I seen run about the same price and the Bullet... Let me know because I was to get one... I heard it was great to make smoothies in and my Dietian gave me GREAT smoothie recipes...

Trish it's just smaller, cuter, and easier clean up, just in my opinion. No buttons to clean, just a couple of drops of dish deterg, screw the top back on and stick it on the bullet for about 5 sec, then rinse.

I threw in some ice, oj, couple of frozen strayberries, half a banana, yummm. You can also use fruit cocktail in a can, but if you get the "light", you may need to add some sweet and low or splenda.

Keep the recipes coming.

Im thinking I want one to... Told my hubby it can be my early Birthday gift. and if not guess what hes getting for his Birthday (3/25) HAHAHAHAHA

My B-day is 3-23-05 and dh asked me tonite what I wanted. Guess what I told him I just hope he gets the blender not the suppositories !( when I used a search engine for magic bullet both come up!)

LOL! Boy - let's hope he gets the right one or that'll be an akward moment at your b-day party!

I bought one of these when I was away at university back in October. I ended up paying like $160CDN but I had TSC (The Shopping Channel) bill me over the course of 6 months so my last payment is this month...

I have not used it that much, but I think on Sunday when I go grocery shopping with my grandparents I will pick up a bunch of fruit so I can finally try out the juicer and then I can freeze some stuff to make slushes or shakes...

As everyone else has said it is a great gizmo (gadget)...I would definitely tell people to get it...I know when my mom saw I had got one when she was helping me move out of my dorm she commented that she wanted to "borrow" it, lol...

I have the blender, smoothie maker, and a hand held elec chopper/blender/mixer, all of which are in a cabinet in the garage. The magic bullet replaces all of the above.

TrishS, your DH and I share the same Birthday.

I am going to Walmart today to get my Easter sunday sweater out of layaway. (Short sleeve BTW. I hope it's warm enough out for it!) I am going to look to see if our Walmart carries these Magic Bullets in the store. If so, Kelly may be putting another layaway in today. :(

HA HA HA, I told my hubby tonight that I ordered the "magic bullet" online and you wanna know what his response was?????......... u all ready for this?............................ He said, "well we can try it honey, but I didn't think you were into that kind of stuff, is it for me or for you? " OMGGGGG!!! I just looked at him thinking he was kidding! Then he said, "will it hurt?" Then I laughed so hard I think I lost 2 lbs!

That has been the ongoing joke with my sons, everytime I mention the "bullet", they crack up, reminding me to be careful and not plug it into the 220 outlet, when I'm "USING" it. LOL.
