February 29, 200818 yr I have been unable to find foods I can eat for breakfast. I used to eat eggs with soy sausage or soy bacon, but eggs are causing a major problem. What are you eatting for breakfast?:confused:
February 29, 200818 yr Right now, I am pretty tight in the mornings. So, I am drinking fat free milk with carnation instant breakfast. I love the chocolate malt flavor and it keeps me full until lunch time.
February 29, 200818 yr Author I thought we are suppose to avoid a liquid diet, I can drink a Slim Fast for breakfast, but I am thinking that is not what I should be doing.
February 29, 200818 yr I am not on a liquid diet at all. However, many bandsters find they are simply too tight in the morning to get any food down. So, we have protein shakes or something similiar for breakfast. By lunch time, I am able to start on food.
March 1, 200818 yr My typical Breakfast is FF yogurt w/ granola & fresh berries. A scrambled egg, oatmeal w/fresh fruit, or EAS Carb Control Shake are my other options.
March 1, 200818 yr I am tight in the morning, and have never been a breakfast eater. I have an Atkins shake in the morning because it goes down and I can have it on the run. The rest of the day is food

March 1, 200818 yr I am way too tight in the mornings to eat. I usually have a low carb slim fast or a glass of skim milk with Moo Magic added to it. I am able to eat by lunch also.
March 1, 200818 yr I was never a breakfast eater I usually have a protien drink with a few frozen berries (no sugar added from trader joe's) I do eat a late breakfast on the week-ends, eggs, oatmeal, cream of wheat whatever strikes my fancy
March 1, 200818 yr I too am tight in the AM... I have a liquid breakfast/protein drinks, and solids the rest of the day. I need to suppliment proteins anyway... can't "eat" enough proteins. Good luck.
March 1, 200818 yr I usually have a packet of Weight Control oatmeal (the cinamon flavoured one is really good) or yogurt for breakfast.
March 1, 200818 yr I am super tight in the AM, but also pretty hungry. The 2 breakfasts that work for me are" 1 - Carnation Instant Breakfast (made w/ skim milk) 2 - Greek non fat yogurt, with a mashed banana, sweetened with a little honey (sometimes I can add a little crushed, high Protein, flax Cereal for crunch) Of course, you could always do a Protein shake, but I think I "overdosed" on them in my immediate post-op days.
March 1, 200818 yr I just got a fill so I am pretty tight right now-but when I am a little looser or later in the day I have a Vitatop muffin top with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. This is a delicious nutritious combo with high protein and fiber and the great taste of chocolate and peanutbutter
