Consult visit in 1 week!!!

I made an appt yesterday my appt is 2/26/08!! I can't wait. Don't really know what to expect. It is covered by insurance they tell me and they had a lady that just had this done with the same insurance I have and she paid only 300$. I hope this is true. But we will see. If you have any advice please let me know what to expect. Thanks

congrats on getting ur consult appt....I'm still waiting to get mine scheduled. The bariatric nurse that sets those up had a family emergency and was out of the office for awhile. So now she is finally back and I left her a msg to see when I can get a consult scheduled.... I've done all the requirements needed..getting the results of sleep study on the 26th.

Good luck on consult on that day and let us know how it goes

Hi Webbgirl! It's so weird, I just made my consultation appointment today. Mine is on 2/25/08! Maybe we can buddy up and keep in touch since we're starting this journey around the same time. That's great that your insurance is covering it. I don't have insurance, so, I'm self pay. Wow! $300?? for the whole surgery? My first visit is more than half of that!
