What video editing platform are you guys using to vlog? I am interested in starting one but VERY lost on the editing/mashing videos and adding pics/text etc.

Just to clear the air, I haven't been pigging out, but I do notice myself having more anxiety at the thought of never being able to eat stupid stuff. Like asparagus. And Cauliflower lol. So your advice really helps. I definitely appreciate what you said about food being just as delicious and interesting as before, and giving me some expectations for next anniversary! All of the nurses I work with know about my surgery. But I am having it at a larger facility. If they figure it out while you're there so be it. I don't think you should have to tell anyone except the Director or who ever is in charge of staffing etc. How long are you taking off after surgery? I'm planning at least 4 weeks. I don't pay for short term for nothing right lol.

My surgery is July 21st, and I feel like I am going to a food funeral. Like, every time I eat something, there is a slight feeling of, ok who am I kidding? I feel like it will be the last time I'm going to be able to eat whatever it is I'm eating. My husband, who is very healthy and fit naturally, and I have talked about how our relationship with food is going to change. Our Anniversary was a week or so ago, and I thought to myself, what will we do for celebrations etc. I know part of this is anxiety, and partly because I feel like I have a good while to go until pre-op diet and then surgery.

Hi Webbgirl! It's so weird, I just made my consultation appointment today. Mine is on 2/25/08! Maybe we can buddy up and keep in touch since we're starting this journey around the same time. That's great that your insurance is covering it. I don't have insurance, so, I'm self pay. Wow! $300?? for the whole surgery? My first visit is more than half of that!
