I sometimes get something like that. For me it was related to reflux. Little bits of food rise and because the valve doesn’t work effectively it rises further into my throat. It felt a bit like something is stuck & I’d try to cough it up. Don’t know if that’s what you have.

Some people get excess mucus/phlegm stuck in their throats and some try to clear their throats to get rid of it. I believe there are over the counter things you can use or gargle with warm salty water if it’s that.
