TORe Post Op Diet

Just wondering what other RNY => TORe patients' Post Op diet transition was like.

I did clears for 4 days then started full liquids 2 weeks then I'll do soft/mushies for 2 weeks.

I'm seeing other folks extending their soft foods to 3 weeks so I'm wondering if doing that may help overall. I suppose it couldn't hurt, right?

Couldn't hurt. May help the suture anchor points heal better which may result in a stronger anchor points for the sutures.

That's a great point...thanks! I will definitely be extending this phase to ensure full healing.
