For those that had surgery. How long before you went number 2? LOL I had surgery on Monday and still nothing lol. They gave me stool softener pills which i have been taking.

about a week. And just a warning, that first one can be a doozy, so I'm glad you're taking stool softeners!

I was told I should use a glycerine suppository if I went a long time without going. But check with your surgery center. The stool softeners did absolutely nothing for me.

I had one while I was still in the hospital and then every day afterward at home. No issues.

It finally happened this morning lmao. haha.

Nobody mentions prebiotics ?

Had surgery on a Monday. Went on Friday morning.

It took me a week and I'm almost 3 months out and still have issues with it. The more water the better. Walking is really important too to get things moving.
