I am pre-op and i wanted to ask someone is it normal to feel bloated because i have been feeling this way for about a week now I'm getting a little bit concerned because this has NEVER happened to me before, anyone have any thoughts or solutions to this I'd really appreciate it, thank you and have a great day.

yea didn't think of that - it could be something in the shakes, too. Like maybe the artificial sweetener they use?

Could be the change of diet, you just started your pre op diet from your previous posts right? I found the shake very filling and left me feeling bloated

Did you maybe eat more salt than usual?? That’s the only thing I can think of.

that - or constipation. OP = has it been awhile since you've "gone"? If so, try taking stool softeners or Miralax to help move things along...

If you are drinking Whey that could cause a bloated feeling. The Whey Isolate is the best absorption and variety. But if you become uncomfortable enough that it interfere with your nutrition try a different protein source. ie Pea Protein, egg protein. Your dietitian can help guide you. Don’t let anything get in the way of your success and health.
