Hi all, I'm scheduled for surgery May 3rd. I will begin my preop diet 1 week prior to my bypass surgery.

Dr wanted me on liquid two weeks before, my dr is in Broward d county I live in miami, Fl nice to celebrate prior just had a margarita party with my girlfriends today to celebrate before the count down ??

Whoever said “more anxious” I am right there with you. I have more energy now that I’m 15 days away but it’s definitely anxiety based [emoji1787]

May 17th!

My surgery date is May 17th as well. I’m excited but nervous about the new journey I’m about to go on. Good luck to us all!

Mine is rescheduled from 27th of April to May 2nd or the 16th due to covid patients taking over all the beds! I'm told that I could be called in either the 2nd or the 16th here I am waiting with my suitcase all set to go (sigh)

Me too!!! Surgery on the 3rd and a 1 week pre-op diet starting on the 26th. NOT excited for that LOL

I’m new here also and am having RNY on May 10. Start the liquid diet tomorrow and it is making at very real now. It’s been such a long journey to get to this point that it didn’t seem like it was ever going to happen.

So annoyed. My office is dragging their feet on submitting to insurance. Really hoping for a May date but we’ll see!

I just started the pre op diet for two weeks yesterday. It's not too bad. My surgery is the 9th of May.

Mine starts tomorrow, and honestly, it's the part I'm dreading the most. HOW is a fat person supposed to get through a whole week with no food??? lol
