I had surgery 2 days ago, which went better than expected. Mine was done primarily for GERD, but also because my weight was going up. My weight when I left for the hospital on Monday was 254. When I got on the scale this morning it was 264! I know this is all due to fluids taken at the hospital, but I was still surprised by how much! Any thought on how long it will take to lose this?

yep - fluids. It can take up to a week for it to work its way out of your system.

Oh throw that scale out the window for at least the first month and just focus on healing and transitioning. Weight doesn't matter at this point.
