Excited/scared

Hi everyone! I’m having DS on Monday and full of apprehension. I am so confused on vitamins - when to take what -how many times a day. At this point I think I’m too dumb to do this. Ugh.

You're not dumb; it's very confusing and people have different opinions. Your surgery center should have given you some written materials specific to your surgery, which will have different vitamin requirements than a sleeve or RNY (Bypass). If they have not given you these instructions, please get in touch with them and request it so you can order what you need. I suggest you order a small amount of a few different brands because I found some of them to be intolerable, and even the ones I take now make me nauseous!

Oh gosh don't feel that way. There's a lot of information to absorb and process and you just have to take in a little at a time. Your surgeon's office will guide you on what Vitamins they want you to take. I take mine at night before I go to sleep to avoid them making me nauseous and/or try to spread them throughout the day to avoid too much at one time.
