Thanksgiving Purée

I was wondering if the VSG veterans who were in the purée stage for Thanksgiving have any food recommendations for the big day. Looks like I’ll be able to taste mashed potatoes and plain sweet potatoes. Would deviled egg filling be too rich? I hit purée stage this Tuesday and cannot wait! Any purée advice is appreciated. Congratulations to everyone!

Yes, it is trial & error as to what will sit well in your still healing & often fussy tummy.

Try puréeing some turkey thigh (breast is too dry & coarse) with gravy or stock. Won’t look pretty but you’ll be eating turkey.
