Has anyone made the ricotta bake and added ground beef?

No, but I guess it would be like a meat lasagna (sounds good). It wouldn’t be a good idea during purée stage though, when most people first have the ricotta bake.

yes. Once I was cleared to eat ground meat. basically a lasagne without noodles. I do it all the time.... and add zucchini

I kinda do a ricotta bake without baking...haha. When hubs makes spaghetti meat sauce I take 1/4 cup of the sauce & meat (usually ground turkey), then I mix in about a tablespoon of ricotta and sprinkle on some parmesan cheese. YUM!

Can someone provide a link to a good recipe and explanation of what a ricotta bake is? Is it just lasagna without the noodles? I've never heard of such a thing but I'm looking for new recipes.
