I have been waiting for over a year and I will finally be banded on December 19th!!! OMG! I am scared, happy, worried, freaking, and having every other possible emotion!!! I can wait to join everyone in the banded world.

Congrats and welcome! This is the beginning of the rest of your life and you are going to see some big changes! Changes for the better! Take the next week to get completely ready for surgery. Get your foods in stock, get all your comfy items set up beforehand. Being proactive on this is the single best thing you can do....planning ahead.

What I am especially tickled with is your surgery date--you know, many are stalling until "after the holidays" to get banded ("Just one more holiday, please") and I am so proud of those who are getting banded BEFORE Christmas!

(I was set up to have a second fill on December 28th and moved it up to December 21st--I want to be tight for Christmas!)

So my hat (if I wore one!) is off to you!!!

I am so excited for you.. I have been reading lapband info for a year now and I have everything done except 3 more months of my diet.. I hope to be banded in April.. SO I am dying to get it done and I can imagen how excited you. Listen to what everyone here tell you to do and how to be ready for it... You will be fine and have loss so much weight by the time I am banded... God bless you and watch over you..
