Feeling super guilty...

I am on day 8 of my pre-op liquid diet. I have done well...until yesterday. I'm not sure what came over me, but I ate an entire handful of almonds and immediately experienced immense regret. I know I need to follow this diet to shrink my liver, I have no excuses for what I did. I just feel ashamed and needed to get it off my chest!

Almonds are mostly fat and protien, you probably didn't do any harm. Shake it off, recommit to finish strong:) No worries.

Your only human. No worries. Just move forward, and don't beat yourself up for it.

It's not going to make any difference when it comes to your surgery. Some doctors don't even require a liquid diet prior to surgery. Let it go and don't beat yourself up over this.

I didn't even do a pre-op liquid diet. Don't beat yourself up. Cheating with almonds is one of the most innocent cheat meals I've ever seen anyway.
