Hot Cocoa

Just tried the Bariatric Pal Hot Cocoa. It is so good! It tastes just like regular hot cocoa. I was very surprised.

I LOVE the BariatricPal hot cocoa! Have you tried the flavored ones? The raspberry is delicious. In my early post-op days, I was so sick of protein shakes, and I found the hot cocoa much easier to drink. I am constantly recommending it to post-ops here who are struggling with protein shakes.

I have not tried the flavored ones yet. I wish I knew of it in the beginning. I had a very difficult time with the shakes.

Ooo, good to know! My surgery is still a ways off (mid-April at the earliest, no set date until after an endoscopy). Hot cocoa is definitely something I like to enjoy occasionally in the winter, so finding an alternative that's healthier is a plus! It's going on my list of things to try post-op (when I'm ready).

Yes it is a must to try. You may like it better than the protein shakes. I def do.

I love Camino's cocoa powder. It's unsweetened so you can add your own sweetener to taste or leave plain. I find the natural sweetness of my fairlife milk is usually plenty.

(my body hates stevia, so I loved being able to add a touch of splenda)
