I think after I complete the sleep study, all I will lack is a scope. Sound about right?

Hoping for early November

Not cleared, cardio. Ugh.

Not cleared, cardio. Ugh.

[emoji17] That sucks, I'm sorry. Was this all an insurance requirement, or a requirement of the surgeon? All I had to do was psych and dietician (and I'll have the pre-op labs about 5 days before the surgery).

I'm going in for the sleeve on the 19th, all that is left for me Covid 19 testing on the 15th then surgery on the the 19th.Wish I wish I would have done it earlier have been struggling with weight since I was 40 I'm 56 now. Hope all goes well.

I'm not sure who is requiring it. They have asked for more testing. Ugh

I'm 52. I've been up and down forever. Been wanting to do this for several years

UGH! I'm sorry to hear that but this will hopefully just be a small delay on your path. Considering how quickly you were able to take care of all of the initial testing, I'll keep my fingers crossed that they're able to book you for the additional cardio testing right away. It seems like a big setback, but someone on your team saw something in the cardo results that worried them and your team is just doing their due diligence to make sure your surgery is as safe as possible. They just want a complete set of data to work from. It does suck to have to go in for yet another test, but you have conquered much of the pre-op path already and that's a big achievement!

Completed, and sent back the sleep study yesterday. Second meeting with the surgeon next week. I can't wait to start the liver shrink!

Well just got a call from the cardiologist. Not clear. Lol. They want a stress test. I'm out of sick time. I've used it all for these appointments. Ugh

So finally all clear and submitted to insurance.

Congrats on finally getting cleared! I'm in the waiting stage as well. All my stuff has been cleared and insurance approved, but they are so behind they aren't even scheduling for 3-4 weeks. :( Its likely going to be late December or early January.
