I was scheduled to have my surgery in April, but due to the pandemic it was postponed. But I just got my date, October 13th

Hey there ! I have one week of pre op diet left too. My surgery is 10/13. I just had my call with the OR and it feels so real now ! There were so many instructions I wasn’t expecting. It was so thorough which I liked.

Mine is on the 13th as well! I'm meeting with a nurse and a physiotherapist tomorrow to go through everything during op and post op [emoji16]

I received my surgery date yesterday! I will be having surgery October 28, 2020.

I am scheduled for 10/9 and I am growing nervous

I am scheduled for Monday October 19th. Excited but scared also.

Mine is on halloween lol, 31st October. Its a gastric bypass. Going to start the Liver diet soon.

I gotta take my long acrylics off today

I had my VSG done yesterday. Have to say it has not been easy for me. I have so much gas and have barely been able to release some. I hope they let me go home today. I have tried walking a lot to release gas but hasn’t helped much. Other than that I am fine. Just super uncomfortable.

The gas pain is pretty rough! When I was in the hospital I barely passed any! It wasn’t until the night I got home (day after surgery) that I was finally able to release some.

What felt good to me was continuously adjusting the hospital bed to lay flat for a few minutes, then sit up the next few, then back down. I feel like that helped move the gas around in my body so it wasn’t just sitting at my shoulders. I hope you feel better soon!

Why taking off? they cant make you. I pay way to much. They can get you oxygen from your ear.

That’s the hosp rules they said it’s hard to get oxygen read sigh.

did your OR have crazy rules ? The list is so long . But I’m going to follow it to a T
