Flavorless food

I am 16 days post op and everything tastes bland... and then i don’t want to eat it!!! I knew some of my tastebuds would change... but this is crazzzzyyyy!! 😩😩😩

I don't mean to sound like an alarmist, but lost of taste is one of the symptoms of COVID19. Have you been exposed?

I find post-surgery my taste buds have changed, but in that they are more sensitive. Things I used to love now taste way too sweet, etc.

Again, don't mean to upset you, but just wanted to make sure it's not COVID19.

I tested negative for Covid... so that’s not it.... thank goodness

as long as there's nothing physically wrong, I'd just take advantage of it. I had pretty much zero interest in food for the first 4-5 months and had to remind myself to eat sometimes. It was the easiest time in my life to lose a bunch of weight! My appetite and interest in food eventually came back, and things did get more challenging then...
