what kind of diet does your clinic want you on? I could only have no- or ultra-low-cal liquids for those two weeks, plus 4-5 protein shakes per day. So no recipes would have worked for me - but I know some people are on much less restrictive diets for the two weeks before surgery

Yes as above I was only on shakes for weeks before surgery

I had shakes, sugar free or fat free versions of pudding, Jello, popsicles, soup broth, gatorade, yogurt and milk.

My surgery is tomorrow. My surgeon doesn’t require a pre-op diet at all. No eating/drinking after midnight tonight.

I just started the pre-op diet. It is just 4-5 protein shakes, jello, broth, and plain yogurt. It’s tough but we can all get through it as we can see a future at the end.
