ANY CURRENT BALLOONERS???

Hi everyone, I am so thankful I found this site! Tons of information, but I noticed that the balloon forum posts aren't recent. I am hoping to find some current ballooners in the general threads or maybe I can get pointed in the right direction. I am 2.5 weeks in and would love to have some people to talk to about what they are experiencing. No one knows I got the balloon other than my Husband and though he is extremely supportive, I am sure he is tired of hearing me complain and question what I am going through.

I am losing weight, my body shape is changing.... all great things.

BUT I have ZERO energy. I have to sit in the shower. I puke when I brush my teeth. I can barely sleep some nights because my acid reflux is so terrible. And I don't know if I am hungry, because... well, I don't ever feel hungry.

Anyone out there???

M

The acid reflux sounds terrible! What does your doctor say? Are you taking Prilosec or Nexium it?

I am taking Prilosec 2x a day. I have my first follow up on Monday, so I plan to ask about it. It isn't constant, but when it is here it is beyond terrible. Lot's of burping... which is so very lovely.

there may just be a handful of people on here who've had that since it's not a common surgery. Hopefully one of them will see this and respond...

go on to youtube and watch her post. Balloon BoyMom

i thought about it because my BMI wasn't enough to revise to the sleeve at the time...
