I am 26 years old. 5’6. My CW is 344lbs , GW is 200lbs.

I am so excited and nervous all at the same time! My consultation was 5/28 and they called me today stating they could schedule me as soon as 6/17! I wanted to get a full 2 weeks on the liquid diet so i have scheduled for 6/22 at 9AM. I didn’t think i would have a date so soon after consult. Two weeks i soon. But I’ve been praying for this for a long time! So my excitement definitely overshadows the nervousness. Lol

RicaShanea, You didn't say which surgery you're getting. I hope you have a successful WLS and safe recovery! It takes a lot of will power to follow the diet and make the nutritional changes required. Keep posting here on the forum and you'll get support from this community.

YAYAYAYAY!!! I'm so glad that things are moving forward again with so many peeps here....that damn Covid crap put another road block in the way of so many people that didn't need YET another roadblock.

I'm so happy for you and prayers to you. We're almost surgery twins.. I'm having the sleeve done on 6/24.

So happy for you! I remember when I got my surgery date - I was so excited... My excitement totally obscured any nervousness I could have had. You'll do great. Just make sure to follow the instructions each step. If you get out of line - your body will react & it's not pleasant. But it will be worth it in the end! Keep us updated on how things go!
