Gastric sleeve on Friday, 1/30, so I'm only 2 days out. Not feeling too bad except for the gas pains. But I've gotten really nauseous to the point of vomitting a couple times, only to have just air come out. I'm talking mouth sweats, excessive saliva, but no vomit. Anyone else experience this? Does it last long? Any suggestions?

When I was discharged I was given medication for nausea just in case I needed it. Glad I didn't. Two friends who had WLS also experienced nausea and did have the medication. Call your surgeon and he/she should be able to prescribe something for you.

Sounds like normal post-op nausea. It gets better within a few days.

Thank you. I do have a prescription for anti-nausea medicine, unfortunately it actually makes me more nauseous. Go figure.

You're probably right. I have my follow up on Monday, I'll mention it then of it hasn't improved.
