I am 13 months and still don't get all of my water in.

I am about two months out and it's still a struggle. I think I can do about 40 oz on a good day. I just keep the bottle with me and make a concerted effort to sip every single time I think about it.

I was drinking like 30 oz in week 1 and 60oz in week 2 but with bypass... Everyone is different though.

How long was it before you could get in your minimum amount of fluids? I was told 64oz minimum, but I'm not even quite two weeks post op and I am still struggling with this.
I've been barely getting 20-30oz some days, and have been feeling more and more like I'm getting dehydrated. I did what my surgeon told me to and went to the ER to get fluids through IV, but the doctor there refused to give me any. I'm annoyed and feel dry and haven't been doing really well, so now I'm trying to sip on some powerade zero and hope for the best...
Anyone else have this problem?
