3 weeks post-op

I had my surgery 11/26/19. It’s been 3 weeks and I have only gotten in all my liquids and food in a few days. Heartburn.. OMG

Yesterday i wasn’t able to get much down at all. I feel unsteady on my feet! Any suggestions?

Are you not on a PPI for the first 3-6 months?

Stick to mostly bland things, broth, nothing spicy.

You need to put a call into your surgeon and let them know. May be reflux which is pretty common with the sleeve it seems.

Pinch and release the skin on the back of your hand. If it snaps back immediately and perfectly, your hydration is good. If on the other hand the small bit you release stays up a bit, or doesn't immediately mold back like nothing happened, you are dehydrated.

You can literally go months without food, but you need the liquid, and some enzymes. Gatorade zero, stat.
