Protein Powder

Hey All!

I know that topic has come up a lot and I’ve tried searching but I was wondering what unflavored high protein powder you guys are using that has low calories. I’m just a week out of my sleeve surgery and I want to make sure I’m getting lots of my protein. I’m not liking the pre-made drinks or some HMR stuff that I have, so I’m hoping you guys know. I heard Genepro has high protein but had some lawsuits and might not be that actual high so looking for other options, maybe Isopure?

Thanks!

Unjury unflavored has been pretty good to me in recipes thus far. Granted it's been pudding and jello so far lol but it's been good!

  • I really like Unjury. Not too sweet. Order on line at unjury.com Best of luck!

One product I am very happy with is Nutrasumma Fermented Pea Protein. Unflavored, unsweetened. Gluten free, soy free, Vegan friendly. 20 gm protein, 100 calories, Contains all 9 essential amino acids. I get it at Sprouts.

I use this in soups and savory foods, as the flavor is slightly pea like, which blends really well in soups. Once my vanilla flavored Whey protein is used up, I will most likely use this pea protein in smoothies and yogurt bowls, as well.

BTW - I have YET to find an unflavored Whey protein powder. Even if they are unsweetened, it seems like there is always natural vanilla flavoring added.

I switch mine around but love this one

Unjury offers many delicious choices of protein powders. The unflavored you can add to anything and the Protein chicken soup and chili are very good too. I was introduced to the product by my surgeon's office. They gave me several single serve packs to try. I drink readymade protein but like to switch things up to avoid my tastebuds getting bored. You can also look up recipes using protein powder. Good luck to you!!
