Consistently feeling icky...6 weeks post-op

Does anyone else just feel icky all the time after surgery? Not debilitating but I just feel slightly pukey almost al the time. When I’m hungry, after I eat, in-between...I go about my day just fine only have this gnawing puke feeling constantly.

It's normal, it's takes some people longer to heal, and for inflammation to subside. Just keep fluid intake high. I still had slimes/foamies and upchucked months out from food. And you have low energy

Yup. Normal! Be patient with yourself and your new sleeve. Things will get better.

What surgery did you have? Do you feel constantly over full? Do you have difficulty swallowing? Do you vomit or just feel like you're going to?

Hi! I had the Gastric Sleeve, haven’t ever actually thrown up just feel nauseous. Oh and nope no issues swallowing it’s just a weird pukey feeling. I also don’t feel overfill just eat three or four itty bitty meals per day as per the instructions I was given. It’s a mystery - lol!

And you have low energy from lack if calories, just make sure you get your protein and fluids in and a few vegetables and it will progress. You could however have a bit of reflux, you might try a small dose of prilosec to see if that takes care of it.

Thanks so much! I hadn’t read anything about people having this so I was concerned that something bad was possibly going on. :)
