I recommend books about "normal eating" or "intuitive eating". These books usually deal with emotional eating quite a lot. Different strategies work for different people.

I try to "drink" my emotions away with some sugar-free flavored water or a homemade iced coffee with vanilla protein in it instead of eating food.

I’m working on this myself. I just got out my paints and plan on making it part of my journey. I had googled earlier emotional eating podcasts and I’m going to start listening to them on my walks. h

People talk about having no appetite after surgery, so the diet is easier. How are some ways you guys combat emotional eating? This is one thing I worry about. So far I've been doing really well, I'll go draw, or take a walk. I've lost 50lbs since october 2018, and I'm now sitting at 310lbs. I'm doing well, in my eyes, but I would still like to know more ways I can combat this problem.
