June 2019 sleevers

  • Popular Post

So, I just but the bullet, (like 8 minutes ago!) and sent the deposit for my surgery. I’ll be heading off on the 16th for surgery on the 18th :) I’ve got a couple of trips away between now and then that my husband has been looking forward to for months and I didn’t want him to miss out otherwise I’d have booked for an earlier date, but hopefully those trips will make the time speed up a bit. Bring it on :)

My surgery is scheduled for the 28th. I’m still trying to get all my stuff together for post surgery. I don’t even know where to begin!

I just got home from the hospital. Surgery went smooth. Gas pain is the worst part. But at least I'm home

Just got my date today. Scheduled for 6/4. It took over a year but I made it this far and am glad to join the June club. ☺️

Gotta keep moving. Walk around the house. Get up every 15 minutes and walk around for 5 minutes. Keep doing that. You’ll feel better

I have been doing good with walking. It does really help. I think the biggest challenge is getting all the water down.

That was HARD. Just make it a job. Keep the water next to you. And take a sip every 10 minutes or whatever you can tolerate. Just know that eating and drinking will be a chore for the next several months.

I have water on me at all times. I was up walking most of the night. My wife stayed with me and between me getting up to pee every five minutes, and the people coming to take blood, bother of us got sleep. But, I'm really happy to not have to much pain. Just sore.

Update: everything went well today, was actually up and walking the halls about two hours after getting in my room. Don’t get me wrong the pain can be real. Especially the gas pain, but you know who told me what do when that happens? My WLC family here, so I got my butt up and started walking . It worked. Thank from the bottom of my heart... good night
So glad to hear it! Congratulations!

Healthy wishes. Congratulations!

Good luck you can do this! You'll sleep tomorrow then walk, walk, walk.

Hi! I am new here...

Scheduled for 06/29... I am freaking out. Last night I had the realization that I am actually scared of being a normal weight..... I am not sure how I am going to survive the next 20 days. I am so nervous!
