It's probably going to be like a week or even more but you should be fine with the nausea medication they usually prescribe you. If they haven't, ask for some. And the liquids part is difficult but just try to drink a little every 10 minutes.. (Yes, I know is annoying) but you don't want to ge dehydrated

I remember taking my nausea meds for 5 or 6 days postop

Oh how lovely to stop after 3 days, since many of us are on a lot longer.
