What to do with protein drinks

I am three weeks out from gastric sleeve and I’m so bored with the protein drinks. Soft diet for one more week, and I have to keep drinking them until I can get all my protein from food. Saw this somewhere and it is so good. I don’t even like coffee. Try it:

2 shots of espresso in a venti cup of ice, pour in your favorite protein drink. (Mine was Starbucks but what ever will do I’m sure).

Espresso? I was told absolutely no caffeine for the rest of my life since it's a major irritant to the new seam in the stomach.

EDIT: I never realized there was such a thing as decaf espresso until I googled it. Who knew? Nice!!!!
