Heating Pad on Incisions?

Anybody know if I can put a heating pad on my incisions? It’s day 4 post op. Thanks.

I used ice pack to reduce pain when i was at the hospital. It helped a lot.

Do they hurt? Why a heating pad? Wouldn't an ice pack make more sense? Mine didn't bother me. I'm using Bio-Oil on them to make the scars fade away.

Ice pack is great!! It helps with the general swelling too.
