Hi guys I’m in the same boat! MGB on the 11th today is my first day on full liquids. Still moving a lil slow. How do u know when your full? Haven’t tried to drive yet, y’all? How long r y’all taking off of work? Have u started your vitamins? I’m sorry I so full of questions ?

I’m up eating lol drinking for the last time surgery is at 12 today 3/11 and I’m extremely nervous still u decided on which is the best option for me :( sleeve or MGB. Please keep in in your prayers my name is Crystal. God bless us all

I’m fixed but need my birth control to control bleeding. They told me to stop it and of course the flow came I’m so upset. I don’t want to worry about this on top of my healing

Do not do! Waste of money opt for something different. U will be back for a revision like me if you do.

Yes, the said MGB abut im not sure if it’s too invasive and I don’t want to have another wls for revision.

Please help my surgery is Monday and I am still unsure which procedure is better for me. I have a failed lapband, BMI of 33.2, CW 189. I read the forums how sleeve patients usually regain after years and go back for revision. However is MGB to invasive for my weight loss. I don’t want to lose to much. Please help me decide. More heads and opinions are better than one :)

Has anyone had MGB in Guadalajara Mex or Mexico? Expierence withDr. Alejandro Lopez? Did you have to have a drain to decrease infection? Was it left open or closed? This freaks me OUT!

Does this work for MGB? Should I take my heating pad from home?

Surprisingly the preop diet isn’t that bad, I can’t wait to eat at dinner. How did u know the MGB/GBP was the right route vs the sleeve? My BMI is 33

I had the same concerns and am going with Dr. Alejandro Lopez in Guadalajara. My husband will be able to stay with me.

What about trying Primer Protein they taste delicious

Hi Kris77 I can have it removed here but my insurance won’t cover the MGB because I don’t have Pre-existing chronic health conditions and I would have to pay 30K here. Plus I didn’t want to have 2 separate surgeries.

How long were you off from work for recovery? Any advice or must know tips to follow?

Hi I had a lap band in 2015 and had complications. My dr is advising I have it removed. I am looking at having a revision surgery to MGB in Tijuana with Dr. A. Lopez. My lap-band was done in the states. My worry is am I crazy for weighing in at 190 and considering a another weight loss surgery? I have gained 30lbs in the last 6 months. Is MGB too invasive? I don’t want to loose to much and look unhealthy. Please be open and honest. God Bless is all!
