Nurse's Strike

I have no idea if my surgery, which is scheduled for Monday the 24th, will be going ahead. I am so disheartened.

  • Call the hospital and ask them?

  • They don’t know. The situation is ever changing at the moment. Mostly I was crabbing about it.

Rant away! But it may be best to have it when the nurse's aren't striking or thinking about striking. Can you imagine recovery care with fed up nurses? No thanks... Hopefully they resolve it

Hopefully they resolve it and your surgery happens soon!

Good news - whether they strike or not I am unlikely to be affected by it - they have to give 10 days notice from the day they choose to strike and I am only 5 days away! Whew! Now I won't whine about THAT anymore. Cant guarantee I won't be whining about something else though....
