I definitely snack. There’s not all that much difference for me yet between snacks and meals! Is a 1/2 cup of green yogurt a meal, or a snack? How about a protein bar? Either way, it’s eating 5-6 time
I'm pre-op and I'm getting conflicting information about snacks. My nutritionist gave me suggestions for healthy snacks, and then she gave me a meal plan that said absolutely no snacks. Now by snacks, I'm not talking about mindless Cheetos in front of the tv. I'm talking about a planned, portioned, healthy snack such as string cheese, fruit, nuts, protein bar, etc. With previous weight loss plans, when I was on-plan and doing what I was supposed to do, I did best if I brought a snack to work. I work long days and it keeps me from gorging at dinner. Maybe I just won't be hungry enough for a snack after surgery, I don't know. So do you snack?
